Who We Are
Shenandoah Baptist Church of Cleveland, Tennessee is located in the Ocoee Region at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains. The church began in a hotel conference room in 1987 under the leadership of founding pastor, Steve Grubbs. The church body transitioned to and outgrew other buildings until 1997 when our current facilities were built and dedicated unto the Lord. Shenandoah Baptist Church called David Gamble as Pastor in 2018. The growth and outreach of our church have been blessed by the Lord under Pastor Gamble’s leadership by example.
What We Believe
We are an Independent Baptist Church that is fundamental in both its faith and practice. We direct our own affairs under the authority of the New Testament Scriptures.
We believe in the deity of Christ, the virgin birth, and salvation by the Grace of God through faith. We stand on God’s Word as presented in the Authorized King James Version Bible. Christ is the head of our church and the Pastor is the leader of the local church. We are premillennial and believe in the rapture of the church and the second coming of Christ

Having been led, as we believe by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour and, on the profession of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, in the presence of God, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.
Reception of Members
Upon a majority vote of the members present at any church service or meeting, membership shall be extended to all who have had and whose lives evidence a genuine experience of regeneration through faith in and acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Saviour…

Our Pastor
Pastor Gamble, his wife Renee, and their children moved to Cleveland, Tennessee in June, 2018 after accepting the Pastorate of Shenandoah Baptist Church.
